I'm a little confused. You are attempting to connect to a host FROM the Windows 10 machine correct? Not the other way around? Some of the steps looks like you were setting up the Windows 10 machine to be the host for RDP sessions.

Jul 04, 2019 After installing update 1903 on second computer I get a black screen when remote desktop connects. Tried rolling back video driver which took me back to a Microsoft basic driver from 2006 but only offers 1024x768 for best setting. Jan 19, 2016. In other words, Windows uses RDP natively while OS X uses VNC.

If so, have you tried the built in remote desktop application? Not the one from the windows store? Microsoft web lync app mac not showing shared presentation on windows 10. Should be under START>ALL APPS>WINDOWS ACCESSORIES>REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION. Maybe you are running into a problem with the windows store app? I assume the proper port (3389) is open in the firewall?
